🏛️ CatchCities

About CatchCities

CatchCities turns any city into a game you play with your feet. Walk to real landmarks, hidden gems and viewpoints, catch them when you're physically there, and build a streak. It's free to explore, and it works right in your browser — no app store, no sign-up to start.

What it is

CatchCities is a location-based exploration game covering 159 cities and 9,000+ curated places — museums, monuments, viewpoints, food spots, beaches and the odd well-kept secret. Each place is a "catch": get within about 75 metres on foot and tap to collect it. Places carry rarity, from Common cafés up to a single hidden Legendary per city that's only revealed when you reach it.

Built on foot

Every mechanic in the game was tested by actually walking the streets of Rome. The philosophy is older than the app: a city is a living thing, and you can't know it from a list. CatchCities is a set of breadcrumbs, not a checklist — a nudge to look up, take the side street, and notice the things no guidebook indexes.

Remote workers & nomads

Break out of the coworking-café-gym triangle with a two-hour loop that ends at a viewpoint you'd never have found.
